Consortium General Manager coordinating Silcar, Siemens and Thiess in developing a joint proposal for the supply of Utility Operations and Management Services in response to a Request for Proposal issued by United Energy Distribution.

Key aspects of the role included:

• Coordinating the client bid teams ensuring that a comprehensive, competitive and high quality joint proposal was developed, approved and submitted in accordance with the RFP parameters set by UED.
• Provision of electricity utility knowledge and experience to the team members for incorporation into the final proposal.
• Sourcing of appropriately qualified external electricity industry experts to assist in the refining of the RFP scope and detailed activity costings.
• Through ongoing interactions with senior UED management demonstrate that this consortium was highly credible and capable.
• Ensure that the relevant senior executives within Silcar, Siemens and Thiess were continually updated on progress and issues so that timely approval and support of a final joint proposal was achieved.
