David has over 45 years experience in project investigations, project development and delivery for the mining and resource industries. He has had many years of experience in developing and delivering major projects and was responsible for the procurement of world scale projects for Rio Tinto in Australia and overseas.

David's responsibilities included major technical and feasibility studies, mine planning, process engineering, financial evaluations including participation in project teams which provided the detailed strategic planning and recommendations leading to project implementation. Major components of his work included financial evaluation and environmental studies which are a key part of successful capital investment.

David has also provided advice on procurement options, contracting methodologies and project execution strategies for both Brownfield and Greenfields mining projects being undertaken in Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, PNG, Indonesia, Madagascar and Guinea as well as Australia.
