Ric has over 40 years experience as a hands-on construction contractor and in providing technical and commercial advice on the management of major infrastructure and investment projects, civil & resource engineering and on construction delivery methods and management. He has particular expertise in major road, rail and marine projects.

In a 36 year career with John Holland, Ric's roles and responsibilities included that of General Manager (Queensland) and Executive Director, responsible for all the activities of the John Holland Group in Queensland. Subsequent to John Holland, Ric has undertaken numerous roles and consultancies, including on private and government company boards, chairman of steering committees (from feasibility to delivery), project director, and disputes resolution boards.
