David has over 35 years’ experience in the mining and resources sector (Rio Tinto). David has developed a broad experience across various commodities in both an operating and projects environment.  He has been responsible for major mine expansions and Greenfield Mine Projects having been accountable for the construction of 2 mines both in open cut and underground coal and the implementation development during pre-feasibility for a copper mine in Peru, South America. David has significant experience in maintenance practices and systems and strategies, safety audits/reviews and people organisational systems.
