The Challenge:
- Track work and signaling component as part of the business case submission to the State for the Southern Cross Station Project for the delivery
as a Partnership Victoria project - This project was one of the first PPP projects delivered in Melbourne and was seen as a case study for developing the model in a complicated transport related environment
The Outcome:
Managed the Department’s comparator development, including patronage forecasting, preliminary track layouts and station integration
Conducted the options analysis and cost estimates for the rail rationalization including potential for future underground station platforms and provision for a Melbourne-Sydney high speed rail terminal
Prepared the business case submission for State project funding
