Australian Rail Track Corporation, Inland Rail Program
Partner announcement – 27 August 2020
RPS, together with its partners Flagstaff Consulting, TSA Management and MBB Group, is delighted to announce our appointment by the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) to provide transaction management services across the Inland Rail program.
Inland Rail is a 1,700km fast freight backbone from Melbourne to Brisbane that will transform how we move goods around Australia. It will better link businesses, farmers and producers to national and global markets and generate new opportunities for industries and regions. Comprising 13 individual projects, Inland Rail is the largest freight rail infrastructure project in Australia and one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the world.
RPS Chief Executive Officer, Ross Thompson, said RPS and their partners are fully committed to the successful delivery of what will be a game changing project for the freight and supply chain industry.
“With our partners, RPS is pleased to bring our deep expertise and experience working on complex rail and transport infrastructure projects to this once in a generation project,” Thompson said.
“RPS, Flagstaff Consulting and TSA Management have been working with the Inland Rail team for the last four years, and with MBB Group, bring a track record of integrating and developing a true partnership with our clients, on complex projects.”
Bill Wild, Chair of Flagstaff Consulting, noted that the appointment to this transformational project builds on the group’s growing transaction management portfolio. “Flagstaff people bring their experience as former leaders of major contracting firms to the preparation of robust and market ready contract documentation.” Mr. Wild said.
