- Tailings Storage Facilities (TSF)

The Challenge:
- Logistically remote and with annual rainfall of ~3m/year
- French Republic
- Development and implementation of Project Execution Plan, Schedule and Estimate for the 7.5Mm3 initial TSF
- Implementation of Project Controls to provide execution team with systems for effective tracking management of project costing
- Development and implementation of Project Execution Plan, Schedule and Estimate for Mine Access Road
- Assessment and recommendation for plant site operations mobile plant fleets
- Procurement support for engagement of international and local contractors for various packages associated with project
- Preparation of Life of Mine Tailings study assessments considering a number of different locations and alternate design solutions for each potential site
The Outcome:
Flagstaff provided leadership of the engineering and design management and construction planning including development of construction method, equipment selection, fleet size, organisation structure, approach to equipment maintenance, schedule, and cost estimate. Flagstaff also provided construction execution and delivery experience support to the design and permitting process.
Flagstaff have worked extensively with VNC departments, Mine Operations and have an excellent appreciation of the unique New Caledonian constraints that must be recognised in order to develop realistic and achievable plans
