The Challenge:
- Very little project specific information was available; most collected from public domain
- Limited time and budget for study
- Account for difficult project development conditions: huge east coast seas, routine cyclones, densely vegetated and rugged terrain, paucity of country infrastructure, sovereign risk
- Produce project concept suitable for shareholder value ranking amongst portfolio of capital development opportunities
- Work within multi-national team located around the world to produce integrated solution

Conception and quantification of the various options
Road suitable for high volume bauxite haulage to refinery, and mobilisation of mine heavy equipment including: 7 bridges, refinery modular construction, rail connection refinery to port, power station and local export port option
Class 5 estimate and schedule for each
Study report completed on time and within budget
